Option 3 - Make two more for a 3x3 tablemat - 9” x 9”

B.  Orca Bay - Blue Extra B -
String blocks - 14 half done -

Option 1 - Finish them up and add them to the 7 blocks already done = 21 -
Make one coaster and one 4x5 tablemat - 12” x 15”

Option 2 - Make more and make an actual quilt - ;))

C.  Orca Bay - Red Extra -
String blocks - 51 need trimming

Option 1 - Make two mug rugs - 5" x 5" - and one 7x7 quilt - 35” x 35”

Option 2 - Make more and make an actual quilt - ;))

D.  Orca Bay Bones - Black/White Extra
47 Black/white blocks on wall -

Option 1 - Make one quilt - BOB’s WAY - ;))

Well now! I just can't wait to see what your mind has been brewing. And I bet I'm going to like "BOB's" black/white quilt.

Oh my brain hurts just from thinking about all those options! The star blocks are too pretty to put away and do nothing with, but you know how I feel about string blocks... I don't have any suggestions you haven't already mentioned, but I do hope the star blocks turn into something and I'll be waiting to see what that might be!

I just found you, BOB, and have enjoyed your posts, so no, you're not talking to yourself. I'll be watching to see what you come up with all your options.

It will be fun to see where you go with the left overs. I am still bound and determined to finish mine. I am an official member of the slow poke quilters guild.

I'm just amazed at how many extra blocks and parts you have. Wow! Lots of extra work. I'd rather count then do extra work :-) Hope to hear what you have decided to do with it all.

Marcella - just so that you know - I DO count. And I certainly didn't INTEND to have so many extra parts. I played along with Bonnie's "Mystery" until I realized that it was just too BUSY for me - and decided to make a much smaller version. Had I made her full-sized quilt - I would have had NO extra parts - and actually would have had to make MORE geese and MORE wings. Talk about EXTRA work!! By the way - I've been checking your blog - http://peek.org/marcella/ - can't wait to see your Orca Bay quilt when you get it finished. You're still making the full-sized version, right? Hope you don't wind up with any extra pieces. ;))
