BOB's Tuesday Toast - 9/17/13

Here’s to the makers of flavored coffees -

May they continue to come up with wonderful combinations -
And seasonal blends - ;))

===

Decisions - decisions - decisions - ;))

I like flavored coffees - ;))

Some say that -

If you truly like coffee -

You will drink it black -

No cream -

No sugar -

No froufrou flavors - ;))

To which I say -

Phooey!! (PG version) - ;))

To me that would be the same -

As saying that -

I like ice cream -

And will only eat vanilla -

Plain -

No fudge sauce

No bananas -

No whipped topping -

No nuts -

No cherry on top - ;))

I repeat -

Phooey!! (PG version) - ;))

But then again - it’s probably just me - ;))

Yep! I really like coffee. I drink it black. No cream. No sugar. Mostly. And because I like coffee I also like all those froufrou flavors. And I really really like those awesomely-sweet assorted creamers. But oh boy they can pack a pound on so I reserve them to very special occasions. Like those days that I finish reading about flavored coffees. Gotta go get a cup. ;o)

Those flavor coffee sound good, but I'm not sure how to drink them. Do you add sugar? And cream? I love the little flavored creamers - enough to buy them in BIG bottles. And lately, I've been refrigerating it and having cold (over ice coffee) with vanilla creamer. My grandfather was in the Navy and would only drink ice cold black coffee. (what a sailor!)

Hi Linda! - You drink them the same way you would drink "regular" coffee. I have a "drip" coffee maker so if it comes in "beans" - I make sure that I grind it to suit my coffeemaker. Then I make a pot of coffee as usual. I like to add cream and sugar - but that's just me. I would add whatever suits your fancy - and ENJOY!! - ;))

I never used to even touch coffee but I have grown rather fond of iced coffee and will drink it hot in the winter. Love hazelnut stuff. He wants his decaf and I don't. Whatever, LOL. I am no purist when it comes to coffee.

I like to make a pot of coffee in the morning - of whatever flavor strikes my fancy that day - and then drink it all day. AND I can buy a pound of coffee and make at least 14 pots for about the same price as one cup of Starbucks coffee these days - ;))
