Awwww A Betta! My favorite fish. I started my fish adventure with a couple of guppies in a little fish bowl. Well you know what guppies do best so then I expanded to a 10 gallon. And bought assorted other fish. Then there were just toooooo many beautiful fish that I just had to have so I enlarged the tank to a 50 gal. Awwww yes that was nice. ...... till it sprung a leak! Twice! And over time all the pretty fish died and I was left with guppies. The fish tanks have been gone for several years.
I like looking at fish...... like yours! heehee

"Fish" - how cute!! I had one that I called "Izzy" - his fishbowl was on my desk at work - and everyone who stopped by would ask, "Izzy still alive?" - ;))

Bettas are my favorite, too - ;)) We have had fish tanks in the past - but they really got to be high-maintenance after a while. Bettas don't need much - no big tank - no filter - no other fish friends. Bruce just needs to be fed and his "office" cleaned once in a while - VERY low maintenance - my kind of fish - ;))

What a cool set up for you both! I had a betta for awhile. He was in a large vase like deal that had a planting at the top. It had been used as table centerpiece at the Guys and Dolls auction/silent auction/dinner to raise funds for Salvation Army. When the event was over, you could buy the centerpieces that were donated by a local nursery in conjunction with an aquarium place.

I like bettas because they are such LOW maintenance - and Bruce is always happy to see me in the morning because he knows he's going to get fed - haha - ;))
