Two Question Tuesday – 8/2/11
Here's the deal - I really liked Mama M.'s Five Question Friday - but that's just too many questions for me. So I'm going to do my version - and without the linky thingy.
I'll ask two questions and then give you my answers. If you want to play - you can give me your answers in the comment section. If you have a blog and would rather answer them there - just leave a link to your blog instead. I don't know how to do the "Linky" thing like Mama M. yet - and to be honest - I would rather sew than find out - so I'll do it this way until I figure it out.

1. When was the last time you reconciled your bank statement?
Last week. Occupational hazard. It's not that hard to do - and it tells me how much/little money I have in the bank. ;)) If you guys want a tutorial - let me know.
2. How many UFOs do you have?
A lot. Don't know exactly how many anymore - I have lost count. But I'm working on them - and a ton of other things - and having a GREAT TIME!! To be perfectly honest - I don't care how many I have! They will all get done eventually - or not. Either way - I'm good.
And BOB doesn't know what the big deal with UFOs is anyway.

Crap - you had to ask about reconciling a bank statement? I used to do it weekly then with internet access to the account, hardly ever. I do however, balance my charity's account monthly - it's easy - no activity :-)
ReplyDeleteUFO's - I have one baby quilt that needs quilting (still waiting for a birth announcement - if I don't get it, the quilt won't go!) I have 4 charity quilt tops (made by others) that need quilting. So I guess that puts me at one UFO ???
#1 - About an hour ago. Just paid bills. :) I reconcile every week using online bank statements. Yay for internet!
ReplyDelete#2 - Fewer than I had a week ago, by one...if you don't count the two projects I picked up at the shop hop this weekend...
I'm too much of a control freak to do online banking, but I reconcile immediately upon receiving my monthly bank statements. I'm always amazed that so many people do not reconcile their accounts.
ReplyDeleteI have about three tops that need to be quilted and four Civil War blocks to catch up with. I normally only work on one project at a time. Right now, I am about to start machine quilting my daughter's quilt and everything will take a backseat to that.
#1 - Can't remember. I don't use it that much and I can, and do, check it frequently on-line.
ReplyDelete#2 Lost count. I have a lot. And, like BOB, I don't worry about it, some may never get done. The oldest one I have is at least 20 years old (Grandmother's Flower Garden). I get it out occasionally and I still like it. I think I have quilter's ADD. I get bored with a project that is taking a long time to make so I start something else. :)
1. I reconcile my bank statement monthly, then check online in the middle of the month, so it was only last week that I checked it!
ReplyDelete2. UFO's? I have a few long-term projects. Do you count those? I probably two quilts planned but not started. One flimsy. Two quilts in the process of being quilted. One set of place mats waiting for my sister to embroider them.
