DESIGN WALL MONDAY - 9/3/12
Check out all of us who link up with Judy L. at Patchwork Times on Mondays.
We have some awesome stuff on our walls!
Well, THEY do - ME - not so much sometimes - ;))
===
This is #5 - B/W/R - RED STRIPE -
The LAST ONE -
Segments ready to go -
Half blocks sewn -
Sorted in sets of 2 for the blocks -
Blocks at the sewing machine -
Almost there -
And - on the wall in the hallway -
TOP DONE!!
Now that I have all five tops done -
I’m thinking that I might try to make the backs -
"Jelly Roll Race Quilt" style -
That might be fun -
But I'm gonna have to do some MATH first -
Oh, the horror!! - ;))
Talk to you later - gotta go - gotta sew -
I'm not sure I've commented on these quilts before. But if I haven't..... I really really like the fabrics you've used and this is one of the prettiest modern quilts I've seen. ;o)
ReplyDeleteSeriously!
You know that I am not a fan of "modern" quilting - but this pattern just seemed to suit the "modern" teenagers in the family - ;))
DeleteBTW I tried to comment on your post yesterday but I couldn't get that damn word scramble thing right and after 3 times I gave up. Just so you know.
ReplyDeleteSorry about the word scramble thingy - but - did you know that - if you can't read or don't like the "words" in the box - that you can hit the circle/arrow thingy to the right of the box - to get a different choice? I use it when I can't quite make out what it's supposed to be - ;))
Deleteyou are so funny---"math--oh, the horrors" But there are some that won't/can't/don't try to figure out this stuff.
ReplyDeleteAnd they know who they are - ;))
