BLOCK #84 - THREE BY THREE -
BLOCK #85 - LONDON ROADS #1 -
Talk to you later - gotta go - gotta sew -
I really like the small London Roads. I have to admit, I don't think I'd have the patience to make all those little blocks...Maybe that's why my Farmer's Wives only has (maybe) 6 blocks done....
ReplyDeleteThanks, Katie! - but I didn't make nine little 2" blocks - and then sew them together - ;))
DeleteI printed out the foundation paper pieces for the block - and it came out in three strips - Row 1 - Row 2 - Row 3.
The piecing starts in the center block and just works its way out to each side - easy, peasy.
After I trimmed up each row - I removed the papers - and just sewed the rows together.
The paper piecing is slow going - but I can work on all three rows at the same time - chain-piecing - chain-pressing - chain trimming - ;))
