Design Wall Monday - 1/26/15
DESIGN WALL MONDAY -
Check out all of us who link up with Judy L. -
At Patchwork Times on Mondays.
We have some awesome stuff on our walls!
Well, THEY do - ME - not so much sometimes - ;))
===
Something ELSE new on my design wall this week -
But let me digress - ;))
After I fixed this one -
There - much better - ;))
I got the rest of them together -
And up on the wall - ;))
I had intended to make one -
NOT like the others -
But THIS is NOT what I had in mind - ;))
I wanted to reverse the background blue -
And the print on the one FLORAL one -
Like THIS -
SO -
While these marinate on the wall for a while -
I picked up my January SUDOKU Quilt -
That has been kitted up for a while -
The card says 12/12/13 -
So, yeah - it's been a while - ;))
I got all of the 3-patch sections done -
And started with the bottom three blocks - ;))
The rest are ready to go -
So that's what I want to play with today - ;))
Talk to you later - gotta go - gotta sew -
I have seen different variations of the sudoku quilt. I will be interested to see yours finished.
ReplyDeleteGene - check out my page/tab - Sudoku Quilts - for a list of the ones that I have made so far - a tutorial - and the ones that I have cut and kitted. They are really FUN!! - ;))
DeleteI love the simplicity of the churn dash, yet have never used it in a quilt.... I think it makes a great scrappy block... the Sudoko??? that whole thing just boggles my mind...
ReplyDeleteKatie - they're EASY - they're just a bunch of 9-patches. Check out my tutorial on my page/tab - Sudoku Quilts - you'll see!! - ;))
DeleteWow you're coming along nicely on your churn dash blocks and I really like your "one not like the others".
ReplyDeleteNice! Looking forward to see what you'll do with the borders.
Thanks, Linda - but who says that I'm going to DO borders - haha - ;))
