Just a little quilting today -
But it's more than nothing -
And more than I had done yesterday -
So that's progress - right?
I decided to use gold colored thread - and you can't see it real well in the photo - so maybe you won't be able to see all of the boo-boos lovely quilting real well either when I get it all stitched - LOL - ;))
EDIT UPDATE - Thanks, for the comment, Julie - I need to go back and edit that part - I actually use a gold colored thread that is 100% cotton. I have some gold metallic thread but it is hard to work with whether I try to sew by hand or by machine - so I know what you mean - ;))

Kathleeny - Thanks, lady! - This little one is just the table "runner" - 2 x 3. I have another one - a table "topper" that is 6 x 6. I can't find the post with the photos (probably because I'm looking for it) - but I'm going to start with the little one - for practice - and I will for sure show the whole thing when I get them finished - ;))
That gold blends in nicely. Breathe and keep going!
ReplyDeleteI've quilted with that gold thread by hand and it is not much fun. The machine seems to work a whole lot better ... at least when you are doing it.
ReplyDeleteLove this one. Hope you show us a picture of the entire quilt.
