The last four sets -

Were sewn Tuesday -

So I managed to get all of the blocks sewn together -

Before the end of the month -

That may not count as a "finish" to you -

But it does to me - LOL - ;))

Set #1 - RED -

A doggie -

A kitty cat -

And two of these -

Set #2 - RED -

Most of a doggie -

Most of a kitty cat -

And two of these -

Set #3 - ORANGE -

Two of these -

And two of these -
The darker ORANGE blotches are actually paw prints -

Set #4 - ORANGE -

Two of these -

And two of these -

That's it - all 80 blocks are now sewn -
20 sets of 4 -

The pattern is Jiffy Jelly™ Quilt from Moda - HERE -

The block is simple enough -
The center row is three 2-1/2" squares -
And the outside rectangles are cut 6-1/2" long -

Soooooooooooo -

As I got closer to finishing up these blocks -

And knowing that I had two more jelly rolls (40 strips) in the same prints -

I kept wondering where I saw a similar pattern that would use them -

I did a quick search of Timeless Treasures Projects - HERE -

Where I found one of my FAVORITE FREE patterns - Interweave - HERE -

And I found it -

Confetti - by Timeless Treasures - HERE -

Soooooooooooo -

Next up are the other two jelly rolls of the same print -
40 more strips to make 80 more blocks -

The Confetti pattern is similar to Jiffy Jelly™ Quilt from Moda -

The block is basically the same -
The center row is three 2-1/2" squares -
And the outside rectangles are cut 6-1/2" long -

The only difference is the configuration of the center row -
Jiffy Jelly™ Quilt has the OUTSIDE squares match the longer sides -
Confetti has the CENTER square match the longer sides -

The layout of the Jiffy Jelly™ Quilt is block to block - alternating the seams -
The layout of Confetti is sets of four matching blocks which make larger blocks -

Soooooooooooo -

First step -

Pair up 10 sets of contrasting fabrics -

Tomorrow I should be able to get most (if not all) of them cut - ;))

Talk to you later - gotta go - gotta sew -

That pattern does look fun. It does not look at all the same, and yet it is made the same way. Then four blocks become one big block which really makes it look a lot different.
