Second set -

 
 
Of blocks is sewn - 
 
For my Upstairs/Downstairs - Marigold - 
 

I decided to go with the RED as the MAIN DIAGONAL - 

It's going to be BRIGHT whichever way I sew it - 

So I might as well get it over with - ;))

    This set doesn't look as crazy bright. Maybe it's me, or maybe that dark in the center is effective at breaking things up? It's still pretty!

    I agree with Katie. I think the variety of golds/yellows and red/maroons will appear a bit softer once they are all in the mix. It will still be bright, but not as much as the EQ mockup.
