Believe me - I was VERY careful with the rotary cutter that day - and I stayed away from the stove. And thanks for the ruler trick - not that I'll ever have something like that A Left-Handed Quilterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01145550105234839991noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3925958115318632100.post-21412436804377519202016-07-05T06:28:41.372-07:002016-07-05T06:28:41.372-07:00I hate days like that! As for the shorter stitch length - takes a while longer but keep a short metal ruler on hand and tear against it but putting the edge on the stitch line - Not that you'll ever have something like that happen again ;-)Katie M.https://www.blogger.com/profile/09538545754383438552noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3925958115318632100.post-49915626688169300432016-07-04T13:25:26.491-07:002016-07-04T13:25:26.491-07:00Oh, I'm just as cheap with the ink - I get the...Oh, I'm just as cheap with the ink - I get them "refilled", too - they work just as well and at half the price - so why not? And the re-pressing and re-sewing was actually very re-laxing - it gave me time to re-flect and re-cover my sense of humor so I could post my "poor me" post - ;))A Left-Handed Quilterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01145550105234839991noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3925958115318632100.post-30142190131680964542016-07-04T13:10:34.780-07:002016-07-04T13:10:34.780-07:00It was one of those - "if I don't laugh, ...It was one of those - "if I don't laugh, I'm going to cry" - kind of days. I had no choice but to keep on keepin' on - the computer wasn't going to fix itself - and I didn't want to call someone on a Sunday to help me. The sewing part was what sent me into hysterics - I was laughing so hard I knew that I had to share my "adventures". (I think that is because with my older printer - those "new" cartridges have been sitting a while) <br />As for the stitch length issue - been there done that -kinda. I just took extra time ripping out the paper on the longer stitches ( a sharp pin helps to score the paper.Gene Blackhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15731141629634998152noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3925958115318632100.post-38301507788147169352016-07-04T02:01:34.923-07:002016-07-04T02:01:34.923-07:00What a frustrating day.
