After I sewed the first twosie - On my Sundance Bargello - I realized that I had messed up the order of the strips somehow - So - I un-sewed the twosie - And re-sewed the strips back into tubes - to start over - When I rearranged them again - in the correct order - I un-sewed them at the proper spot - And A Left-Handed Quilterhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01145550105234839991noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3925958115318632100.post-11909317236128587902023-09-28T00:30:00.004-07:002023-10-07T18:42:33.026-07:00Starting in the middle - Was sewn for my Northern Woods Bargello - The one on the far right that I showed you the other day - Then I sewed it to the other foursie on the right - To make another eightsie - So now I have the center strip - And one eightsie to the left - And one eightsie to the right - I still have twelve more A Left-Handed Quilterhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01145550105234839991noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3925958115318632100.post-78528464855255603122023-09-20T00:30:00.013-07:002023-09-20T00:30:00.141-07:00Same - Yesterday seemed to slip away from me - And I didn't sew one stitch - So my Northern Woods Bargello - Looks the same as it did the day before - Maybe today I'll sew together the four strips on the right - And then maybe I'll sew some more - ;)) Talk to you later - gotta go - gotta sew - A Left-Handed Quilterhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01145550105234839991noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3925958115318632100.post-71693999392289422212023-09-19T00:30:00.004-07:002023-09-19T00:30:00.129-07:00Moving along - On my Northern Woods Bargello - I sewed the four new striips on the left together - Then added them to the other foursie on the left - To make an eightsie to the left of "center" - It still doesn't look like much - My Northern Woods Bargello - Will be an experiment - Since I'm not sure how this will turn out - With only two repeats of the fabrics - But when I'm done - I'll know if I need to adjust anything - Before I tackle the other one - So - out of curiosity - and for a mini-preview - I put the center A Left-Handed Quilterhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01145550105234839991noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3925958115318632100.post-90560002349677546902023-09-17T00:30:00.004-07:002023-09-17T00:30:00.148-07:00Some foursies - For my Northern Woods Bargello - Were made from the twosies - Then I pulled four more strips for each side - Turned them inside out - And stair-stepped them again - I think I'll continue to make foursies -That seems like a good choice - It's not too many - And I can see the pattern emerge - As I go along - ;))Talk to you laterA Left-Handed Quilterhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01145550105234839991noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3925958115318632100.post-28337823282181686332023-09-16T00:30:00.001-07:002023-09-16T00:30:00.140-07:00Some twosies - For my Northern Woods Bargello - It may not look like much - But each of those four long seams - Had 39 short seams to match - One seam every two inches - For a total of 156 seams - It's not hard - But I have to slow down -
