This pattern was originally going to have the blocks tilted - "Topsy Turvy" - but I gave Grandson #2 the choice to have the blocks set "straight" or "tilted". Since the "straight" set was actually easier to sew and made for a larger quilt - he decided not to have the blocks "tilted" - hence the title - "Topsy Turvy - Not!"
He really liked the colors and the quilt until he saw "Big & Bold" with the darker blues and browns. This one might have come out a little too "Orange" for him - but he can have it anyway - and I might just give him both quilts - someday.
Love the colors! Nice quilting too.
