Orca Bay - 2/2/12
The Saga of the BLUE string blocks continues -
So - trim one up -
UP the LEFT side -
ACROSS the TOP -
Turn it around -
Line up the 3-1/2” lines -
Got the ruler flipped - sorry -
But as A Left-Handed Quilter -
I learned REAL FAST -
How to read a ruler -
Upside down and backwards - ;))
Take the paper off -
All nice and neat -
Couple more to trim -
See the teddy bear?
Isn’t he cute?
I think that I’m going to leave the paper on this batch -
I have an idea -
Tell ya later -
If it works - ;))
Make another batch -
Sew some more -
More - and more -
And then when I finish the corners -
I toss them in the basket to be trimmed -
And start another batch -
Sometimes when I start with a longer strip -
On top (strip #2) -
I can sew it to the paper -
Cut off the end -
And use it as the bottom/first strip -
On the next one -
Talk to you later - gotta go - gotta sew -
I love to find little peekie boos in the string blocks. Kind of an I spy thing. Blocks look great!
