Hey, it is YOUR quilt. If you need to take a detour to make the fabrics work for you (less raspberry for example?, do it! I guess that is one of the risks of doing a mystery quilt---not exactly knowing what will land where in the mix of things. By itself, maybe not so bad but she puts all that other pieced alternate blocks stuff between it---then you might be going "YIKES--that does NOT work for my stuff!"
You're right - way too much raspberry for me. I probably would have switched the chocolate and raspberry if I had known - but that's part of the fun of a mystery - it doesn't always come out the way you thought it would. Now - because I already had most of the stuff cut and sewn - the challenge becomes - how to make it work for me - ;))
