DESIGN WALL MONDAY - 12/16/13
Check out all of us who link up with Judy L. at Patchwork Times on Mondays.
We have some awesome stuff on our walls!
Well, THEY do - ME - not so much sometimes - ;))

Hooray for you! And from what I can see it looks terrific too. Congrats on the finish to this point. Today I think you can proudly say that yes, you DO have something awesome on your design wall or design wallS thanks to that recent expansion.
Thanks, Diane - it IS nice to have the top FINALLY done! I am such a S-L-O-W P-O-K-E quilter that I was afraid I was boring my readers with my endless progress reports - ;))
Thanks, Karen - The red/brown colorway is one of my favorites and worked perfectly for this quilt and its many different blocks. And since I REALLY don't like trying to add long borders to a huge top - too unwieldy for me - I decided to add another couple of rounds of blocks instead - and I like the result. I may do the same thing to another quilt in the queue. This top took me a long time - but is "Together at last!!" - ;))

DeleteWow! It looks great. I love your color combo. The sashing and cornerstones that extend beyond the blocks really sets this off nicely.

DeleteIt's GORGEOUS! And I absolutely love how your sashing strips extend out into the borders. I've never seen that before and it's stunning.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rebecca! - I tried to get other quilters to follow along while I made it - but no one ever did - so it's ONE OF A KIND - ;))
