Design Wall Monday - 3/10/14

DESIGN WALL MONDAY -

Didn’t get much sewing done this week -

But I worked a little on my Dresden Plates -

And managed to turn a pile of four-sies -


Into some eight-sies - ;))


And when I got a pile of those -


I made some whole-sies - ;))


Now I need to get them all pressed out -

And then I can go from there - ;))



Talk to you later - gotta go - gotta sew -

      Thanks, Linda - the "plates" are from a pre-cut kit that I bought YEARS ago - and I think that they are a cotton/poly blend - but I like the "tie-dye" colors - so I'm hoping that they work - ;))

    I love this pattern and yet I have never got around to using it in my work - I keep seeing it and each time I think 'yep, I'll do that', so this time I definitely will!! Your dresdens will look great with that alternate white then patterned effect. xCathy

      Thanks, Cathy - I have had these pre-cut "petal-type" plates for YEARS - but never got around to putting them together. Next time I may use my special ruler to cut some "blade-type" plates - the points on those won't need to be turned under - ;))
