I did get the 81 pieces sewn down to 37 -

So that IS progress -

And because I don't have a finished block to show you -

I guess I'll show the leftovers - after I cut the pieces that I needed -

I have always called them leftovers -

But I like the way Katie - explained it in this post -

...since this project was a squirrel and these bits are leftovers, they're squirrel poop.
