Summer Breeze Bargello twosies -
Are all sewn together - ;))
The only reason the "twosies" take me so long is that I have the "up" one on the bottom - and I slow down to make sure that the seam is flipped UP before I go over it. From then on - all of the seams on the bottom section are going DOWN - and they nest nicely -
And if they don't - I'm not that worried about it -
The colors all blend together and if I'm off a bit - they don't show that much -
This is a close-up of the second row from the bottom - right side -
You can see that the seams don't match perfectly -
But they look like they do from across the room - LOL - ;))
It does become a bit tedious at times -
But it's a good no-brainer when I'm trying to pay bills and go through old files - shredding and such -
And I think the end result will be pretty - ;))
Talk to you later - gotta go - gotta sew -
A blind man on a galloping horse wouldn't see it so you are good to go.
ReplyDeleteThe colors are so juicy and fresh.
ReplyDeleteI always say "I am not making it to go in a show to be judged, so it is fine."
ReplyDeleteBut I still prefer to make something that doesn't require matching seams. LOL.
I really like the colors you are using for this quilt. I hope that when people see "character" when they look closely at my one of my quilts, they are tickled by the surprises I have there for them!
