Karma Churn Dash - flimsy -
My Karma Churn Dash is a flimsy!! -
YAY!! - ;))
And the "one of these is NOT like the others" -
Blends right in -
Probably because his friends on the left and right -
Have the same "light" inner triangles in the corners -
And another perk of webbing "my way" -
Is not only did I have THREE long seams to SEW -
Instead of FOUR -
To get the top together -
I only had THREE long seams to PRESS -
When I got done - YAY!! -
So now the question is -
What to do with the left overs? - LOL - ;))
I have 2 BLUE tone-on-tone charm squares - 5" x 5" -
And a bunch of cut strips -
The small ones are in sets of 2 @ 1-1/4" x 5" and 2 @ 1-1/4" x 6-1/2" -
The bigger ones are in sets of 4 @ 2-1/2" x 6-1/2" -
I'm thinking tiny 4-patches or 9-patches or 16 patches -
Using the small ones for the centers -
With the 2-1/2" strips on the sides -
And 2-1/2" squares in the corners -
What do you think? -
Any suggestions? - ;))
Talk to you later - gotta go - gotta sew -
Looks great! I'm sure whatever you come up with to use the scraps will look wonderful too!
ReplyDeleteYou know me, I would do random piecing. I say put them in a bag for your next crumb quilt.
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful top. Amazing!
ReplyDeleteI agree, it looks great(?), but what is a “ flimsy”? Now to decide on another project with the same fabrics...just what you need, right?. Gene might have a good idea for now (“...put them in a bag...”). Out of sight is out of mind....lol.
ReplyDeleteYay! Looks great. Mini log cabins?
