The puzzle - was finished - 

 

 

When we completed the bottom sections - 

 

And we did find the "missing" piece -

 

In another bowl - LOL -

 

We didn't join it all together - 

 

But you get the idea - 

 

The second batch of Quarter Log Cabin strip sets have been cut - 

 

And are ready to sew -

 

And tomorrow - 

 

It looks like I'll just keep on keeping on - ;))
