I'm new to this - so bear with me while I try to figure out what the hell I'm doing.
I decided to start a blog so that I could share my love of quilting and maybe some pictures of my projects and an occasional rant. I couldn't decide what to call my blog. My first choice was a bit harsh - so I asked a dear friend for suggestions. She grows award winning mums and had a vanity license place that read "Mum Bum" - so she thought I could be the "Quilt Bum". Welcome to my new blog!!
A little about me - I am a quilter. I'm no expert and I'm not perfect but I have won my share of blue ribbons at the local county fair and at a Quilt Show in a near-by town. I have never entered a quilt in a juried show or any type of international competition. Maybe someday.
Sometimes I make a bitchin' quilt. Most of them are quite ordinary, though. I promise to post pictures and show them to you when I figure out how to do that part of this blogging thingy. You can decide if they are bitchin' or not.
Wow - that was easy. Didn't hurt much at all.
