DESIGN WALL MONDAY -
Check out all of us who link up with Judy L. -
At Patchwork Times on Mondays.
We have some awesome stuff on our walls!
Well, THEY do - ME - not so much sometimes - ;))
===
I decided that I could wrestle only one Bear at a time -
So while my Sick Old Bear was asleep in the recliner -
I got the B/W/R Bear -
To the point where the next strip was sewn on -
Then pinned it and marked it for quilting -
And set it aside - ;))
===
Then I pulled out some old Dresden Plate pieces -
That I had been working on - and off - mostly off - ;))
I made twosies -
And then foursies -
And then played in EQ7 -
And came up with this -
Which will do -
Until I can find a certain pattern -
That I remember seeing in one of my magazines -
Now where did I put that magazine??? - ;))
Talk to you later - gotta go - gotta sew -

Your bear is coming along nicely. Good for you for tackling that big thing. And I so want to make a dresden something one of these days. So you work out the details and kinks so I'll know what to do or not do. lol
Thanks, Linda - I'll work out the details and kinks - just don't hold your breath - haha - ;))
Holy Cow! I bet the 'bear' weighs a ton - looks like it anyway. I have been putting fabrics away to 'sort of' recreate my brother's baby quilt that my mom used for all of her children that just happens to be a dresden. I think most of the fabrics were feed sacks, so best I can do is get close.... Anxious to see your dresdens
Thanks, Katie - the "bear" is not "heavy" as much as it is "unwieldy" - because it is so BIG. I have my tables set up in an "L-shape" - so that helps A LOT - but it is still a bit of a wrestling match to get the sucker squished to fit under the needle - and some days I just don't feel like wresting with it - ;))
As far as the dresdens go - I'll tell you the same thing I told Linda - don't hold your breath - haha. You both should KNOW by now that I am a HUGE S-L-O-W P-O-K-E - and have the attention span of a gnat - ;))
