American Grandma -
At the bottom of my last post -
I added a bit of personal stuff -
Which I don't normally do -
And I said that you should feel free to skip it -
Which most of you probably did - ;))
Now I want to add a bit more to that post -
So feel free to skip this one, too - ;))
===
I'm still reading Chris Kyle's story - "American Sniper" -
And was discussing it with Grandson #1 -
Who was with me when I bought the book - ;))
He had seen the movie and thought the book would be good -
And it is - most definitely - ;))
Anyway - when I told Grandson #1 that I had decided to write MY story -
He gave me a "thumbs up" -
And before I could tell him the title I had chosen -
"American Grandma" -
He made me laugh - ;))
He said - "Can I be in it?" - ;))
Well, considering the fact that he was the one -
Who made me a "Grandma" for the first time -
Yeah, I think he's going to be in it - ;))
He's been a "regular" on Grandma's show -
For the past 20 years - ;))
Gotta love that boy -
And I most certainly do - ;))
Talk to you later - gotta go - gotta sew -

You gotta love grandkids. Hey, can I be in the book too?
Absolutely!! - You are part of my life now, Gene. You will definitely be in it. Can I be in your book too? - ;))
I've just a week with my youngest G-kids so haven't read all your posts yet, but I think it's a great idea to write your story! I'm a big advocate of journaling, yet it's something I don't do. I have a 'junk journal' that I made for myself that I keep on my desk. Every once in awhile, I just open it up and whatever page I've opened to, I write something. It could be something profound or just plain nonsense..... Maybe someday, I will write my story (but doubt it :-) )
Love the book idea!!!! AWESOME!!!
Hi Katie - I have never been one to keep a journal. I think I kept a diary when I was a kid until I realized that someone else could and would read it and then I stopped. I didn't want anyone else to know what I was thinking. Now that I'm older - I think I should write it down - so I can tell my version of stuff - ;))
Hi Martha - you come up as a "no-reply" blogger - so I'll answer you here if you don't mind.
Thanks, Martha - wouldn't it be cool if we ALL wrote our stories? We may not be "trending" like other people, but our lives matter, too - ;))
Thank you for letting me know!! I am hoping that the situation is fixed!!!
And yes, I have thought about writing my story from the beginning, might be interesting at least to my family :^)
My blog keeps getting hits from those dang Russian "bots" - which is why I don't intend to publish it. Hackers don't need to know - it's none of their business - and who knows what the bad guys will do with the information. Identity theft is so prevalent nowadays and I've already had my data "breached" several times - so no sense in giving them any more information than they already have. That means - for family only. Unless - of course - I change my mind or get offered beaucoup bucks for my life story - which will probably never happen - ;))
And another point I just thought of.
I can write all I want - but I can't make anyone want to read it - just like my blog - haha - ;))
