Depending on your browser, right click on the image and "copy image location" That will give you the image url. With the post you are writing open, poke on the image button as usual but bypass the using the "choose file" option to pick an image from your camera, personal files, whatever. Instead use "from a url". Then right click and paste the link from the photo in. If you have done it correctly, then the image you want will appear. Add selected. It is in the post then, add your copy. Almost easier than digging in your own files.
I can tell you how to use the snipping tool but I don't know where to tell you to locate it as I KNOW I have re-organized my program folders and put mine in a graphics/printing folder when it might have been in accessibility or somewhere else.
Okay, I know one way to access it (other than my desktop where I probably created a shortcut"
Click Start
Windows Help and Support
type in snipping tool
scroll down to capture a snip
click to open snipping tool
I always do a rectangular snip--drag a square around the image like you would if you were cropping an image in your photo software.
Call it whatever you want and save the image---then you can upload in the usual manner. I think it results in a jpg. Either would have worked for obtaining the image but url is easiest, IMHO
I saw that yesterday and all I could think of was how much the baby resembled the Cabbage Patch dolls! And yes, she's very cute!
Thanks, Linda - I'll try it that in a few minutes - ;))
OK - too much information - I'll try this one some other time - ;))
LINDA - IT WORKED!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! And it WAS easier than digging in my own files - ;))
I thought you might say that, LOL. Really just look in one of those accessibility folders in the start menu and it is probably there. I displaced mine elsewhere as I organize things in a way that makes sense to ME.
Woohoo! Who says you can't teach us girls new tricks?
BTW, that is way cute. I have a friend who has been making those up as well but I don't know where she found the pattern or if she figured it out herself. She doesn't look good as a blonde but that baby is adorable in the brunette hat! Those chubby little cheeks sell it! LOL
