Just because -
The LEFT-EZE™ Rule is designed for Left-Handed quilters -
Doesn't mean that a Right-Handed quilter can't use it -
Let me show you - RIGHT-HANDED Instructions - ;))
First grab some pre-cut strips - and put two of them right sides together -
Trim the ends to straighten them -
HST -
You could place the ruler this way and make the first cut "back-handed" -
Or you could orient the ruler this way -
And cut from bottom right to top left -
Second cut - straight up the right side of the ruler -
Continue on down the length of the strip -
Sew them from the flat end - press open - trim the dog ear -
You know the drill - LOL - ;))
QST -
Make your first cut a HST - might as well have an "end" that's useful - LOL - ;)
You could place the ruler this way and make the second cut "back-handed" -
Or you could turn the strip and orient the ruler this way -
Then cut straight up the right side -
Turn the ruler - and cut straight across the top -
I'm short on the neutral top piece - but you get the idea - ;))
QST - use for your Flying Geese - or Hourglass Blocks -
HST - make the "wings" - or HST Blocks -
If the QST and HST are all cut from the same width strip - they will fit each other -
If you want matching "wings" - fold your strip over - wrong (or right) sides together - so that you get "mirror images" - and cut pairs - easy peasy - ;))
And if you're wondering why you would want to buy a Left-Handed ruler when you're a Right-Handed quilter -
You might ask yourself why Left-Handed quilters buy Right-Handed rulers -
Besides the fact that they are the only ones we can find -
It's because - as everyone knows -
All you have to do is "Just Reverse It" - LOL - ;))
Talk to you later - gotta go - gotta sew -
P.S. If you would like to buy a LEFT-EZE Rule™ and save $3.00 (the PayPal fee) - you can send me a personal check - $24.95 plus Shipping $7.25 = $32.20 plus Sales Tax if applicable. Email me at - caseyq19 - at - gmail - dot - com - put "Order" in the subject line - and include your shipping address - so I can calculate Sales Tax. As a safeguard against "bad" checks - when your check "clears" my bank - I'll put your ruler in the mail. Thank you for understanding - ;))

I am glad you designed this ruler. I am a "Right-ie" but I like using it too.
You ok? You stopped posting. Just checking on you.
