Variation -
Would be to use a "butter" yellow as some suggested -
But I couldn't find a "light" yellow in my stash -
Oh, the horror! -
I thought I had EVERY color in the rainbow -
But I guess not - LOL -
So - anyway -
We settled on "another" variation -
In the coloring of my Churn Dash blocks -
Involving "white" -
Variation #1 -
Black Churn Dash with "Color" background -
And a White center -
Variation #2 -
"Color" Churn Dash with Black background -
And a White center -
Variation #3 -
White Churn Dash with "Color" background -
And a Black center -
The theory is that there would be too much Black -
And the ones with Black need a White center -
And the ones with White need a Black center -
So - all together now -
I need 30 blocks -
So I can make 10 of each version -
And see what happens -
I don't really care - one way or the other -
I have a HUGE stash -
And - if I don't like it -
I can always make another one -
In different colors - LOL -
In the meantime -
I cut and sewed the White/Color HST and "bars" -
I still have another batch of Black/Color ones to cut and sew -
Before I start assembling the blocks -
So I'm moving right along - LOL - ;))
Talk to you later - gotta go - gotta sew -

Those will be stunning when completed!
Can't wait to see what happens! I am not sure why I like the churndash so much and these are graphic ones.
It will certainly be interesting to see how the three variations work together in a quilt top.
I love churn dash blocks. The 'colors' are beautiful! Can't wait to see how your look when put together.
