I sewed the columns - 

But haven't joined them together yet - 

 

 

I'm not sure why the third one looks shorter than the rest - 

But I'll measure them all tomorrow -

 

And I may offset the first two panels -

To zig-zag it a bit more -

 

 

If I need to adjust anything - 

I want to do it BEFORE I join them - LOL - 

 

It's fun to play around - 

 

Until I find something that I like - 

 

And - 

 

The best part is - 

There are NO rules - LOL - ;))

Today I was able to play with the backing -

I cut all of the sections - 

And laid them out on my ironing board - 

Similar to the diagram - 

 

 

I decided to add some strips between the big chunks - 

To lengthen it a bit -

And all of the sections are not fully visible - 

So they may appear shorter/narrower than they really are -

 

 

Then - of course - I came up ONE strip SHORT - 

In the 3rd column - LOL -

 

So - 

 

Rather than cut up another strip from the extras I have on hand - 

 

I thought I could piece a section from some leftover "units" - 

 

 

It should look something like this - 

And I think that might look pretty cool -

 

 

But now - 

 

Looking at the photo - 

 

I might swap out the pieced section - 

 

For the top Gray one in the 2nd column - 

 

And then switch some of the other Yellow and Gray strips around -

 

Or not - LOL -

 

Don't know yet - 

 

It's a "Work in Progress" -
