May Flowers Sudoku Quilt
So I took a break from the applique -
And decided to play with -
May Flowers Sudoku Quilt - ;))
It was already "cut and kitted" - HERE -
The squares had already been cut -
And the scrap card had been made -
It was my "cheat sheet" - ;))
So I spent a couple of lazy days -
Sewing a few squares together -
Making blocks -
And adding the sashing and cornerstones -
The “Watercolor” feel to it was a "Happy Accident" - ;))
After I added the borders -
I even made the heart - ;))
TA DAH!!
Flowers - Flowers - Everywhere!! -
Talk to you later - gotta go - gotta sew -

I really like that.
There you go! A finish when the other project is more on going. Pretty Sudoku quilt and a nice series for you.
Thanks, Katie - it did turn out pretty, didn't it? - ;))
A finish? - Kinda - it's just a top - but that's about as "finished" as my stuff gets these days - haha.
And it didn't start out to be a "series" - but has turned out to be a really fun one. I have a couple more "cut and kitted" - June and July - and some more ideas rolling around in my head - stay tuned - ;))
I LOVE it! I hear one of those calling me.
Thanks, Julie! - You really should try one - they REALLY are fun! I have a tutorial posted - check the "Left-Handed Quilting" page/tab - it's listed in two parts under "Construction". They're like potato chips - I can't make just one - ;))
