A little more Saturday stitching -
So I changed my mind about adding strips around the outside -
And cut some Quarter-Square Triangles -
To make some Hourglass Blocks instead -
I took 4 pre-cut 2-1/2" strips and tried to make 16 blocks -
The strips didn't quite make enough QST for all 16 blocks -
So I cut an extra strip from some of the 10" squares -
That seemed to work just fine - ;))
And the "checkerboard" effect in the red/white and blue/white QST -
Isn't "checkerboard" at all - ;))
Talk to you later - gotta go - gotta sew -
