Quilt-Along - LHQSQ 2.0 - Three More
All HST this time - but easy enough -
Simple Design-
Ready to sew -
Pressing - alternate the seams diagonally - to "nest" them -
Sewn -
Pinwheel Double -
Ready to sew -
Pressed to the Orange -
Sewn -
No-Name -
Ready to sew -
Sewn -
Pressing - this time I pressed the top and bottom row to the LEFT -
And the middle row to the RIGHT - to "nest" the seams -
It's nice when a block made entirely of HST comes out the size I want -
With NO muss - NO fuss -
NO drawing lines and/or sewing on both sides of them -
NO sewing "tubes" and cutting HST with bias edges -
NO cutting squares to get HST and QST - with its Fuzzy Math -
NO having to TRIM EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM before OR after I sew them -
I use my LEFT-EZE™ Rule -
CUT the HST - SEW them - PRESS them open - trim ONE dog-ear - and I'm DONE -
Easy-peasy - ;))
Talk to you later - gotta go - gotta sew -

It really is great to just piece and have the blocks come out right sized.
Oh dear...the Project Quilting prompt came out Sunday and I squirreled (or unicorned, as the case may be) big time. Until that's finished, all other quilty projects (and some things like toilet scrubbing) are on hold...but these will be here when I'm ready in a day or two!
