LHQSQ - Blocks - 16 - 17
My Left-Handed Quilter's Sampler Quilt -
LHQSQ - See the tab/page above -
So far -
Is comprised of 6” sampler blocks -
That you can make using -
2-1/2” squares
and HST that FINISH at 2”
Three across and three down -
Variations of the basic NINE-PATCH -
The sewn block will MEASURE 6-1/2” -
And FINISH at 6” -
===
For the next two blocks -
I took two mediums (MEDIUM and medium ;))
And a light fabric -
I made -
8 MEDIUM/light HST
4 MEDIUM/medium HST (two different mediums ;))
5 light squares
1 MEDIUM square (the FIRST medium - it looks like a HST but it's really a square - ;))
Then I took some of my handy-dandy mini-design boards -
And made two more variations of the Friendship Star -
The first Friendship Star I made was Block #3 - here -
And I just realized that somewhere between taking this photo -
And putting the first twelve blocks up on my design wall -
My Block #3 changed from this -
To this -
Oh, well - VARIETY is the name of the game! ;))
Anyway -
#16 and #17 are coming up next -
Talk to you later - gotta go - gotta sew -
