These are super easy quilts and your's turned out so nice - love the fabric choices.

Some very nice blogger sent me a few packs from Keepsake Quilting and I used one of those for a "JRRQ"... I cut my strips and used diagonal stitches - but I think the next one I do will be both straight and diagonal for a bit more 'interest' I wanted mine a bit wider so I added borders.... I'm hoping to get it quilted over the weekend and send to the victims of the fires in CO as per a post on Bonnie Hunter's blog....
I need to get pictures on my blog >

Those look like a lot of fun to make. And what a great way to crank out three quilts for three sisters.

I made one from scrappy strips, not a Jelly Roll with coordinated fabrics. I call mine "Hot Mess" because it is, in my eyes. I do better with some planning and order in my quilts and I know that but my little internet group was sewing for one of the gals birthdays. It is pinned and waiting to be quilted as the pro bono quilt I knew it would be all along. My pals say it doesn't look bad----but that could just be THEM. LOL

Thanks, Katie! - I like how yours turned out, too! (And you're welcome for the Scrap Bags - ;)) JRRQ are SO fast and easy - I might take a break from the LHQSQ and make another one. Might even put a 4-patch or something at the end of some of the strips - see what happens - ;))
