QUILT JOURNAL - 1999

Preprinted Panel - Blocks
Machine Pieced
Machine Quilted
Kid Quilts
Completed - May 1999

I took preprinted panels of blocks -

Cut them apart -

Added sashing and borders -

Then all I had to do was quilt and bind -

Quick and easy!!

I don’t have photos or the original quilts -

But I do have scrapcards for some - ;))

I found a Mother Goose nursery rhyme panel -
No need for sashing or borders -
All I had to do was quilt and bind it -
Extra quick and easy!!

From my experience, those pre-printed panels are a good starting point and they can stand up to hard wear. (and if they are going to fade, they all fade together so it is not noticeable)

I agree - and they sometimes come in fun colors and have characters on them that children like - making them even more special - ;))
