Play time -

Last time I had pulled out these -

And said that -
It's an 18-pack of strips and a matching 18-pack of 10" squares -
I should be able to get some pretty blocks from this batch -
And get lots of practice using my new toy -
Hopefully WITHOUT "Slight variations in width" - ;))

So I looked around in EQ7 - and found a "Classic Pieced - Whole Top Design" called "Five Stars" - and sized it to use 2-1/2" strips - and my LEFT-EZE™ Rule -

First I decided I wanted some red and yellow stars -
And got those cut and sewn and on the wall -

But then I couldn't decide what to do with the middles -
The EQ7 design has plain 4" squares but I didn't want to go that big -
I wanted to use the ruler to make Flying Geese in a smaller size -

So I went back to EQ7 - and modified the design a bit -
And added some smaller stars to the centers of the "Five Stars" -

According to my "LEFT-EZE™ Rule - Size Chart"
(that I'm testing - every chance that I get) -
The smaller stars need 1-1/2" strips - so I cut some from the 10" squares -

And decided to make them blue and green -

Oh yeah - that works - ;))

Talk to you later - gotta go - gotta sew -

Hmm... Stars inside of stars seems to be a theme with both of us. Great minds......
