For my Bali Pops™ - Mulberry 16-patch -
Pattern by Wanda S. Hanson - Exuberant Color -
You can find her EXCELLENT tutorial - HERE -
HAD to be ones from these strip sets -
When I first posted this photo - HERE -
Gene's comment was -
Grin! I think the reason I haven't done a sixteen patch is that I would be too tempted to mix the sections together in the block. Those two sections just beg me to do that.
So you KNOW that I HAD to try it - LOL -
And I did -
First I laid out the segments "normally" -
Then I switched up the ones on the RIGHT -
Sewed the four blocks together -
And got this -
When I put them up on the wall -
I put one of each "normal" 16-patch with the LIGHT patch in the top LEFT corner -
And put the two "mixed" ones with the GREEN in the top LEFT corner -
But the lighter PURPLE is also light -
And could be in the top LEFT corner of either one or both -
Providing more variety in the layout -
I may "mix" a few more sets as I go along -
Or I may leave this set as an "I Spy" challenge -
"One of these (sets of four) is NOT like the others" - LOL - ;))
Talk to you later - gotta go - gotta sew -

Hmm, if you were working with just those four fabrics, you could get a very interesting secondary pattern.
Wow, now you are just going all out crazy! Lovely colors.
