Five Question Friday - 3/4/11

The questions come from My Little Life and Mama M.  She has a "Blog Hop", too.  You'll see the list of blogs to "Hop" at the end.

And THIS WEEK - I have a quilt entered in the Weekly Themed Contest.  The category was People/Faces and I just couldn't resist entering my quilt - "SANTA'S SISTERS"!  So - VOTE FOR ME!  (Click on the logo on the right sidebar - or on the Weekly Themed Contest link above or HERE.  When you get to the site -  if it won't let you vote - bookmark the site on YOUR computer.  Go to YOUR bookmark and vote there.  I know it's a round-about way of doing it - but if it won't let you vote from my site - I think it may think I am trying to vote again - and the site only allows one vote per IP address - not email address.  That's just the way it's set up - so you may have to make your own bookmark - sorry.)

Anyway - here are the questions for this week -

1. Have you ever forgotten your child in a store or at school?

2. Where did you go on your very first date? (Like...first first, not first with your spouse or current significant other!)

3. What's your "silly" fear? (We're not talking water and heights.)

4. Confrontation: do you cause it, deal with is as it comes, or run far far away?

5. Wood floors or carpet?

Not that I recall.  Could have - don't remember - haha.

I honestly don't remember!  That was a loooooooooooong time ago!

3. What's your "silly" fear? (We're not talking water and heights.)
No such thing as a "silly" fear!  If you're afraid of something - it's not "silly" at all!

4. Confrontation: do you cause it, deal with is as it comes, or run far far away?
Runnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.

5. Wood floors or carpet?
Pergo - great stuff! - though it does put the "hard" in laminated hardwood.

UFO Update - Again

WOW!!  Did I luck out or what??

I just checked the UFO Challenge for March - Judy picked #1.

YAY!!

I did my Stage #1 UFOs in January!  I can do whatever I want this month!

So here is my TO DO LIST for March - (in no particular order) -

1.  Figure out how to make a button for my sidebar - so other lefties can link back to my blog (if they want to).

2.  Work on getting my taxes done.  I've been procrastinating - and, of course, I know better - having been on the other side of the desk for many, many years.

3.  Practice my free-motion quilting (Stage 3) projects.

4.  And play with my new toy.  She came today!!

 I couldn't find the "pick" until I turned over the "Value Die".  It was taped to the back.

So, I have my new toy and I have all the parts that are supposed to come with her.

Now I need to give her a name - and get to know her better.
