QUILT JOURNAL - Floral Applique - Part III
JUNE 2002 -
Three years later -
I dug it out again -
It was time to get this thing quilted -
I added batting – and a backing -
Layered and basted it -
And put it in the pile to be quilted -
Where it sat -
Again.
While it sat -
It kept nagging at me –
It looked too wide –
It needed to be longer –
And – I DID have two other blocks cut out and prepped –
What if -
I added that Bird's Nest/Rose block to the top center?
And the Leaves/Berries block to the top right?
And made a Leaves/Acorns block for the top left?
It wasn’t REALLY done without those last three blocks –
But I wasn't READY to do three more blocks -
So I let it sit some more -

decisions, decisions Sounds like me - should I? shouldn't I? then to hell with it - I'll find something else so I don't have to make a decision :-)
