I’m still working on the Folk Art Christmas Tree

I fixed the Bird - ;))

Got the pattern face up -

Grouped them by color -

Got everything traced -

And decided to cut the parts as I needed them -
The trick was getting the layers right -
I didn’t want to fuse something down -
And THEN find out that something else -
Was supposed to go UNDER it - ;))

Almost there -
I’m taking my time -
And it’s coming along nicely -
Now it just needs the bow and the hand - ;))

This post was written and scheduled to go "live" today - before I learned that Linda - my bloggy buddy/friend and "Racing" partner had to have surgery recently and will be sidelined for awhile. I have decided to post my progress as scheduled - and because she's run into this little roadblock - We have declared a TIE in our First Annual Leisurely Turtle Race To Christmas With Squirrels Allowed. - ;))
