Sewing Tip -
Here’s a tip that I ran across accidentally -
While I was looking for something else - ;))
It's one of those things that -
If I had actually been LOOKING for it -
I may never have found it -
And we all know how that goes - ;))
Anyway -
Check this out - here -
I'm trying it out -
It does take a little getting used to -
But I think I LIKE it - ;))
Talk to you later - gotta go - gotta sew -

I will try this as I have been having fits with my right, low back and then cramps in the muscle in the side of my leg by evening time.
It is funny as we were just having a similar conversation yesterday at the sew-in. 4 of the gals were sewing with featherweights. My friend Cindy discovered that she had been sewing with her pedal the "wrong" way from how they show in the manual. Whoever reads that far?? You basically want to know how to thread the machine and roll a bobbin to get to sewing. She went around to see how the others had theirs set up, LOL.
So far - I think I LIKE it - but it's only been a couple of days now - so let me know what you and your friends think of doing it this way. I'm usually willing to try anything once - you never know - it might be fun and actually work - ;))
My different machines have different foot controls - the older Singers have a 'button' instead of the whole top depressing - I use the older Singers, I guess, backwards - I'll try this with the new machine controlers.
How clever is that? I am going to have to try it.
Hi!! I'm back!! And tomorrow I do plan to get back to the studio so I think I'm going to try that.
Hi!
I actually do this, I find it much easier on my leg and much quicker machine response and better control!
Thanks for the tip!
Take care, Leslie
I have been doing this for a long time. Works great for me!
