New rolls -
Are always fun to unwrap - ;))
This one has a wonderful range of colors -
And I planned to keep them in order -
But realized after sewing the first two -
That I could VERY easily mix them up -
And I needed to make a "cheat sheet" to keep them in order -
So I made my Scrap Card before I went any further - ;))
Usually I make the card for my scrapbook at the end of a project -
But thought that it certainly couldn't hurt to make it now - LOL -
So I clipped about half an inch off one end of each strip -
And sewed them - in order - to an index card - for quick reference - ;))
It sure helped to keep these in order -
Especially when I sewed the strips together two at a time -
And saw that they could go "either" way -
This first set needs pressing - but it's looking good!! - ;))
Tomorrow I have another Squirrel to chase -
And some more quilting to do on the GREEN top -
Since I skipped every other column/row -
It's time to go back and fill those in - ;))
Talk to you later - gotta go - gotta sew -

Those colors are so bright and cheery. Just what I needed to see on this rainy, chilly, dreary day.
I have a "kit" to do a bargello quilt. If I ever get started on it, I need to do a card like that to keep the colors in order.
Love the beautiful new fabric.
I love those colors! I'd have a hard time sewing them into something because I'd be afraid if finding something else better to sew them into! (I think that's the biggest reason I still have bundles sitting around...I need to figure out how to get over that!) It's going to be a wonderfully bright, happy quilt. It already is!!
Great idea for keeping those fabrics in order. I can see how easily they might get mixed up.
