What to do next -
This is my Antique Squirrel -
It's all stitched-in-the-ditch -
Since before I got my frame -
And it measures about 72" x 90" -
At that size - it would have been a bear -
To try to shove through the small throat -
Of my domestic sewing machine -
Having to constantly re-hoop it on my little frame -
So I think I might try adding zippers to it -
And wait to quilt it when I get my new frame -
Speaking of which -
I talked to the dealer last night (early evening) -
And all of the parts of my order are finally in -
He could deliver it today or tomorrow -
Before he goes on vacation for the next two weeks -
But I had/have appointments today and tomorrow -
So that wouldn't work -
He volunteered to come over last night -
And work late into the night -
But that didn't seem like a good idea -
Who wants to dismantle one frame-
And build another when you're tired? -
So I said that I would wait until he comes back from vacation -
At the end of the month -
In the meantime -
I can stare at this quilt and try to decide -
Exactly what I want to quilt where - ;))
Talk to you later - gotta go - gotta sew -

Hmmmm.. you have a two weeks, you can do it on the current frame in that time and have it done!
You were smart not to have him assemble the new frame late in the day. If something isn't quite right then he is gone for two weeks. I'm sure you have 'options' in your sewing room LOL.
