Orca Bay - 2/3/12
I was playing in EQ7 -
And came up with these -
122811
BOB’S WAY -
Around Christmas time -
I thought that I had “solved” the “Mystery” -
7x7 -
Red Geese framing the white/neutral blocks -
012312
Add a border -
9x9 -
Add two layers of Bonnie’s border blocks -
And twist them a bit -
012512
Re-size back down to 7x7 -
I like how the “Black Wings” point toward the center of the quilt -
012512B
Add ‘Red Wings” in the border -
And it gets a bit too “busy” -
012512C
Leave the “Red Wings” -
But change the “Black Wings” to ‘White Wings” -
012512D
Re-size it up to 9x9 -
I like it - but it’s too big for me -
So it’s back to -
012512C
Not quite so “busy” -
The “White Wings” seem to give my eyes a place to rest -
Just need to make about 40 “White Wing” blocks -
And figure out what to do with the extra blocks I already made - ;))
Or maybe go back to -
012512 -
And make some “Black Wings” instead -
Decisions - decisions - ;))
Either way -
I have to finish up the center section first -
Talk to you later - gotta go - gotta sew -

I like the last one best: 012512 (it's in the middle there somewhere too). But that's just me. :) Any of them would be wonderful.
Wow! So Ok you've really confused me now. I have no idea which one I like the best. One thing I realized when I was working with mine is that the pictures helped me 'see' it a different way than when I was standing there looking at it on my wall. Good luck. I can't wait to see how you finish it up.
