Design Wall Monday - 1/11/16
DESIGN WALL MONDAY -
Check out all of us who link up with Judy L. -
At Patchwork Times on Mondays.
We have some awesome stuff on our walls!
Well, THEY do - ME - not so much sometimes - ;))
===
On my wall today -
Some HST - ;))
Like I said yesterday -
I found a HST Challenge on Liz Katsuro's site -
Liz Katsuro at Jelly Roll Fabrics - HERE - ;))
If you sign up for her email you get notices of her SALES -
AND FREE JELLY ROLL PATTERNS -
AND FREE HST TUTORIALS -
What a deal!! - ;))
Anyway - she issued a Challenge -
And offered a tutorial on how to make HST -
Using an interesting technique - ;))
I'm not sure if I'm going to DO the Challenge -
But I thought that I would try her technique - ;))
I had to tweak it a bit because I am A LEFT-HANDED QUILTER -
But it seemed to work - ;))
I'm not a big fan of units/blocks that have bias outside edges -
But I'll get these together -
And let you know how it goes - ;))
Talk to you later - gotta go - gotta sew -

Which way does she show for doing these units?
Her tutorial shows a "tube" technique that I had not seen before. Before I posted any photos - I wanted to ask her permission (copyright and all of that ) - which she graciously granted - so I'm working on another post with links to her site - blog - challenge - and tutorial - along with photos of my Left-Handed "tweaks". Stay tuned - ;))
