Done testing -

A couple more thoughts -

On the NEW BloGGer -

I may have done some things the LONG way in my testing -

And there may be shortcuts that I didn't think about or try -

Like "left-clicking" on the photo to get the little box on top -

But I gave it a shot -

And I'm not impressed - LOL - ;))

We've all seen the blurb -
Emphasis added by BOB -
In late June, the new Blogger interface will become the default for all users. The legacy interface will still be optionally available. We recommend trying the new interface by clicking “Try the New Blogger” in the left-hand navigation. Please file any critical issues encountered.
So - "critical issues" sound like "bugs" -

And if we have to de-bug your new version -

That sounds like you want US to do YOUR job -

And if BOB has to do YOUR job -

BOB wants YOUR check - LOL - ;))

Bottom line -

I think I'll stick with the LEGACY version -

For as long as I can -

And when the day comes -

That it is no longer "optionally available" -

I may decide to use the new version -

Hoping that they have resolved the "bugs" by then -

Or I may decide to say to heck with it -

And stop blogging altogether -

I may decide to announce my departure from blogland -

Or I may just disappear -

I haven't decided yet -

Hopefully I won't have to decide anytime soon -

I have a few more quilts that I want to make and share - LOL -

Tomorrow I'll show you what I've been playing with lately - ;))

Talk to you later - gotta go - gotta sew -

Yeah, I don't want to quit all together but the new blogger is a headache that I don't need. I have some blogging friends that are using other systems, and that may be an alternative. I don't like the way blogger will not accept comments from some of my friends. After all these years, it only seems to get worse.

I think BOB needs a YouTube channel.

I haven't posted for many months, mostly because I use my iPad regularly and trying to post to blogger doesn't work. After all these months I am wondering if it makes sense to continue.

And hearing about the "new" blogger I am just not sure if I want to learn new tricks....I am getting to be "that" age. LOL

I have been reading many blogs....but, honestly, a lot of them are becoming just another source for advertising.....and I am not interested in more advertising in my life (except on tv...that is when I get to run to the kitchen, change laundry, etc.).

I do love seeing what you do...and the other bloggers that I read...and would hate to see you go. But, I know my frustration level so I completely understand if more people leave the platform.

Can't wait to see pretty pictures from you again.

I don't see any advantages to the "new" blogger interface. I, too, will continue to use legacy for as long as I can.

Meanwhile, it will be interesting to see what you have been working on in the background.

Please don’t stop blogging. We left handed people depend on you for a daily fix.

I have been using the new blogger.

I agree that the new blogger doesn't really seem to be better, just different. I hope if you decide to stop blogging you let us know and don't just disappear. Many of us would be worried about you!
Looking forward to seeing what you have been working on :)

Please do let us know if you're going AWOL. I want to know you're okay. I don't want to wonder forever if you've met your maker or just got pissed enough ar Google to hide under a rock. I need to know how to properly mourn this change! But honestly? For the way I blog, the changes aren't that big and I'm just gonna roll with them. But I don't do a lot of fancy stuff, and I only make time for it about once a week (though I read them most every day), so it's a chore I just add to my list. And like learning how the new vacuum works, I just do it. (But dammit, if someone else would just vacuum, that would be okay, too...)

I think there will be lots of challenges in life as we age and it we let every one of them take us down and make us quitters we would be mighty lonely. You can do this and DON"T go away.
