Playing -

I re-arranged some stuff in my sewing room -

And moved all of the Karma Churn Dash blocks -

From the design wall in the hallway -

To the smaller design wall -

In my sewing "studio" -

So I could get a "straight on" photo -

They are in no particular order -

Just up there -

Mostly to see how many I have of each "variation" -

Light/Dark - High Contract/Low Contrast - Busy/Plain - etc. -

And to see if they "played well together" -

Then I took another photo - more "close-up" -

And enlarged it for you -

But that makes it come out blurry - sorry -

There is definitely a PARTY going on - LOL - ;))

I think my favorite block is #20 -

The "odd-ball" -

The "one of these is NOT like the others" -

Even though the "units" are the same -

The value/contrast placement is a little different -

Which makes it "special" - LOL - ;))

Tomorrow I'll take them all off the wall -

Re-arrange them -

And try to balance them out -

As best I can - ;))

Talk to you later - gotta go - gotta sew -

You have been busy. They look great. Block 20 is definitely a good looking oddball.

It is looking good. I had to hunt to find the "oddball" in the group photo. So he plays well with the others.

They look great!

The oddball does not really stand out - I had to look for it for a minute! But I like how these all play together and look forward to seeing how you decide to lay them all out.

So now you have to make another quilt with all "oddball" blocks. Isn't it nice when surprises happen?

This is wonderful! No balance needed, just blindly and improvisationally sew them together. 😁

When arranging the blocks for my feedsack quilt, getting a satisfying balance between dark and light and colors was the hardest part.

This one is looking great! I wouldn't have noticed an oddball block had you not pointed it out. These are all playing well together, I think.
