Testing - #2 -
Thank you for your comments yesterday -
Another thing that I wanted to check out -
Trying to schedule a couple of posts for different days -
In Compose mode - at the right is an "UP" arrow next to "Labels" -
I clicked on that to close the list of LABELS - that I never use -
That allowed the rest of the list to show -
"Published on" has a "DOWN" arrow -
So I clicked on that -
And got - Automatic - already marked with a greenish circle -
Under "Automatic" is "Set date and time" -
Clicked on that - and got what used to be the "Schedule" calendar -
Clicked on the "14" for this post -
Which changed the date at the top - above the greenish box -
Then clicked on the "time" part -
And got the drop down box like the OLD way -
So I clicked on "12:30 AM" - like I always do -
"Saved" it - the "floppy" icon -
"Previewed" it - the "eye" icon -
And got a bunch of stuff strung together with NO separate lines -
Apparently the "Compose" mode does that -
But the DATE and TIME were correct - as SCHEDULED -
So I then clicked on the last icon at the top - on the right -
The ARROW - for "Publish" -
Got a message to "Confirm" -
Clicked "Confirm" -
Which took me back to a list of my posts -
That listed this post - as a DRAFT -
Clicked on that - and went back to the "Compose" mode -
With the LABEL list again - UGH!!
Checked the "Publish" date again -
It was set for Jun 14 2020 - 12:30AM -
So why didn't the list of my POSTS show it as SCHEDULED? -
I clicked on UPDATE - the arrow between the big GRAY circle and the EYE -
"Changes saved" -
Then back - the LEFT arrow to the LEFT of the ORANGE box/WHITE B at the top LEFT -
The SECOND time -
The list of my POSTS shows it as SCHEDULED - ;))
Then I tried to schedule - Testing #3 - for Monday -
Discovered - purely by accident -
That - if I SCHEDULED a post -
And KNEW that I SCHEDULED it -
And CONFIRMED it -
And it showed as DRAFT -
I could click the PUBLISH icon on the LIST OF POSTS -
To change it to SCHEDULED -
In case you care - LOL - ;))
Talk to you later - gotta go - gotta sew -

I decided to go back to "old style blogger" until I can't anymore. Then I may switch platforms or do something else altogether.
I’m with Gene, staying where I am. I’m just hoping for less spam! I know you care though, and I’m betting you get every angle figured out!
Seems like a lot of work to figure it all out. And, why? Is this really an improvement?
It sounds like a pain.
I noticed that too that it still said draft so I just clicked on the update icon on my browser and it changed to published.
I'll be coming back to your posts on this subject should I ever switch. Thank you for taking the time and sharing.
