Testing #2 - Lexus

Now that the Pinto is set up for power chain-piecing -

Let’s see if I can get my Lexus set up for putting the blocks together - ;))

Testing #2 - Lexus -
1/4” foot with flange guide - 1/4” seam stitch - postit notes for guide -
Can't use the magnetic guide on Lily - see's allergic electronic -
I added some purple tape to the extension table - let’s see if that helps -
I saw blue tape on Bonnie's blog -
And Tracy reminded me in one of her comments -

A - Press it - Only a hair/thread or two off -

B - One more time - just because -
Looks like the trick is to NOT mush it up against the guide -
Just nice and easy - go with the flow - so to speak -

OK - I’m done testing -

Now it’s time to SEW -

But WAIT!!

I still have string blocks to make -

And they need a size 14 needle -

And my Pinto is already set up with a size 12 needle for piecing -

(And is perfectly capable of sewing the blocks together - ;))

So what if -

I set up my Lexus/Lily with a size 14 needle -

And use her for sewing the string blocks???

Yeah - I'm going to do that!!

Then when I get crappy seam allowances bored -

I can switch to sewing string blocks - ;))

Talk to you later - gotta go - gotta sew -
