It's not unusual -

For me to go for a few days -

Or even for a few weeks without posting anything -

Since I am not one who blogs every single day - ;))

But there are those who DO post every single day -

And share their "personal" stuff along with their "quilty" stuff -

And I think that's great -

Because I really do enjoy reading their blogs -

And keeping up with them and their many adventures - ;))

I'm just not one of those people - ;))

The reason is mostly because I try to keep my "personal" stuff out of my blog -

It's usually not that interesting or adventurous anyway -

And I may not have anything "quilty" to share on any given day - ;))

When it does get "interesting" -

It usually involves other people's personal family drama -

And since it is - by definition - "other people's" business -

And "personal" -

It is not any of MY business -

And it is not something that I want to get involved in -

Much less share with all of blogland - ;))

I'm not getting involved in other people's business -

Especially family members and their drama -

Since I don't DO drama anymore -

Less drama means less stress for me -

And I like that much better -

Because I don't DO stress anymore either - ;))

Not my business -

Not my problem -

Or as they say -

"Not my circus - not my monkeys" - ;))

My "life" seemed to be getting complicated there for a while -

But since it has settled down quite a bit -

I have been enjoying the peace and quiet -

A LOT - ;))

Then I blinked -

August disappeared -

And it's September already -

BUT -

The other day I was reading one of my favorite blogs - one by a lady who DOES post every day - and she posted one saying that she wouldn't be posting for a few days. That WAS unusual - and had her readers worried as evidenced by the many comments left on her blog. After a couple of days, she got back to posting and let us all know what was going on -

AND -

It got me to thinking -

What if I didn't post for a while because something had happened? -

Would anyone notice? -

Would anyone care? -

And just as I was thinking that -

My phone rang -

And a friend was calling to check up on me -

Since it has been really hot here lately -

And she wanted to make sure that I was staying hydrated - ;))

Ya gotta have friends - ;))
