Green - Monday -

So I dug out the other four rolls of my Vintage Christmas Colors -

To make my "next Squirrel" - LOL -

That I'm calling my Upstairs/Downstairs - Christmas - GREEN

I thought - since I still have a week or so until Christmas -

That I might try a GREEN version of the one I just made -

Make the same strata sets -

But switch the RED MAIN diagonal for a GREEN one -

To see what happens -

And - because I didn't want to try to match the strips from the quilt top itself -

I found the basket with the "ends" of the strata from the RED one -

All I have to do is match the strips to these -

And "reverse" the order of the RED and GREEN strips -

So I took the first one and found the matching strips -

And - keeping the same order - simply put the GREEN ones on top -

And then did that with the rest of the first two rolls -

Matching the "end strips" from the RED ones -

Then I took the last two rolls -

And made a second matching set for each one -

All done -

TWO matching sets in EIGHT different combinations -

Identical to the RED one - except for the placement of the GREEN at the top -

Next step -

Sew the strata -

ALL SIXTEEN of them - LOL - ;))

Talk to you later - gotta go - gotta sew -

I have decided that the big secret to this pattern is lots of organization at the beginning.

I bet you have this one made into a top before Christmas.

I have this vision that you have this hall closet that has a plethora of jelly rolls all stacked up on their sides. This pattern looks like it will come together because of your organization.

I agree with Gene, but I cannot imagine you doing any pattern without tons of organization! I’ll like this one too!

The other one turned out stunning and I bet this one does too.
